Happy Ada Lovelace Day!
Every year on October 16th is Ada Lovelace day. The day was created as a way to commemorate women in science, technology, engineering and maths. There are several websites dedicated to spreading awareness, information and communication about model women. Ada Lovelace Day was started in 2009 when a British civil action site, Pledgebank, started a pledge to blog about women in technology.
One interesting fact I discovered about Ada is that the United States department of defense created a computer language called Ada in the 1980’s after her.
